Hello and Happy EMS Week to all those in the emergency medical services! I had an excellent time in Montana and even spent Friday on a whirlwind tour of Yellowstone as soon as I landed in Bozeman. Some of what I learned out there will be making it into future posts. For now, I'm keeping it simple during the next week - my post for Memorial Day in the USA will be a bit more brief than others.
I'm slowly shifting into looking at self-limitation and bystander response, so Monday's feature is a bit on self-limiting as we know it today. What are the main drivers that prevent people from doing certain things they are competent at? What role could our education, media, or just horror stories play into self-limiting when it comes to Sudden Cardiac Arrest?
Those questions, and more, are the next I'm planning on looking at in this blog. Stay safe, if you have a long weekend I hope you enjoy it, and I'll be back Friday with 4 posts I found interesting this past week!
